How safe? Acriflavine in too strong a solution will kill eggs. One has to be
extremely careful to not use to strong a solution. Another factor with
acriflavine is that you can't use to weak a solution for then it has no
effect.
Unfortunately I can not give you exact details as to how strong a solution to
use for I always mix mine by the darkness of the yellow appearance in the
water ( I know not very scientific).
