tank ideas
I think your plan includes a central filtration system for multiple
tanks/units/subdivisions, but I'm not clear on exactly what you have in
mind. In any case, I am not a big fan of cental filtration. I know the
convenience factor is big, but I like to have the tanks isolated, primarily so
nasties don't spread from one tank to the other. This may be more
important for killie keepers than others, since we tend to have new fish
coming in more often. Also, and more obviously, a central system
precludes different water chemistry for individual tanks.
