It is my understanding that none of these carriers will knowingly ship "live
fish".
However, you do not need to declare what the contents are either if you are
shipping by U.S. mail and by Priority mail at that. I am very cost conscious
due to a very restricted wallet and literally watch every penny I spend. My
fish are a total luxury to me and the ONLY extravagance in my life.
I have shipped very succesfully in small increments by Priority mail to Las
Vegas, Nevada in the very hot weather and have not lost a fish yet.
When I have called the other carriers they have said they don't ship
livestaock.
