Just a simple clarification (I hope.)

The stuff sold in health food stores as 'brewers yeast' contains nutritious,
not very tasty, _DEAD_ yeast. The stuff sold in the little packets (like
Red Star or Fleischmann's) that is used to bake bread is LIVE yeast.

You want to feed _DEAD_ yeast to your Moina/whiteworms/self/whatever.

No, don't go ask your homebrewer friends for some dead yeast. There'll be
all sorts of other stuff in that you probably don't want (sugars, alcohol, ..._)
The stuff sold in health food stores is pretty inexpensive for a huge amount.

And you do _not_ want live yeast for brewing to feed to your cultures.
They'll start to ferment! And die! and stink!
