Hello,
I would always pick my eggs
from my tanks of Pachy. omalonotus,
but must have missed a few eggs one time, for i found fry in the tanks
one morning.
Rather than net them out, I let nature
take its couse, since I already had so many P. omalonotus fry. However,
the fry
lelf with the parents grew at a much faster
rate than those in fry containers.
I always leave the eggs in the parents
tanks to hatch. Dont seem to get as many
to a batch this way, but the fish i do get are healthy, strong and
robust.
The sex ratio seems to be 3 to 1 in
favor of females.
Not that i`m complaining, but why?
