Good starter fish you got there. Dageti are very easy to spawn and
raize. The adults will eat anything including BS and are relativly
hardy. THey breed easy too. Put the pair in a small tank with some
Java moss or some other fine leaved plant and feed. THe fry will
hatch out and swim to the surface where they can be fished out like
guppies. The fry will take brine shrimp from the word go and feed
well. They will also take crushed flake but this is not ideal.
THey grow fast and tend to out shine the parents which tend to dull
with age :-(.
Remember to do regular water changes! Bad water quality seem to be
their only enemy in the aquarium. The moment they start to clamp
their fins do a good size water change and add some salt to the tank.
