I respectfully disagree.
If a person wants to try their hand at Crossbreeding it is their "RIGHT" to
do it. It becomes a problem only when the resulting fish are represented as
being something that they are NOT. That is NOT ethical. Crossbreading and
selective breeding of fish and animals plants has been going on for hundreds
if not thousands of years. For example Bettas, Koi, goldfish, dogs, wolves,
flowers, grains, tomatoes, cats etc. etc......ad infinitum.
If I want to try and crossbreed anything it is my "right" to try it. And
saying that I take my role as Judge, Jury, and Executioner VERY seriously!
I must say here IF I am successful in my crossbreeding of anything be it
plant, animal, whatever, I will not falsely represent it in any way.
You have every right to disagree with me. I just want to highlight another
piece of my point of view. It's very likely you don't share that opinion, but
I will try to say something about your comment without insulting you. The way
I see it animals are no lesser beings then humans, but should have just as
much rights as we do.
I (and I believe every other healthy minded human being) wouldn't want to have
some group of Aliens crossbreeding and experimenting with us, because we are
not more to them than some primitive group of beasts......
If experimenting with humans is unethical, for me doing the same thing to
animals will feel unethical as well.

I an aware that, concerning animals, I have very extreme thougts that most
people on this planet don't share. I feel that's a pity, and when I read about
these kinds of topics I will probably(sometimes passionately) respond
somehow. Please never think I am trying to upset people, or to make people
angry. People thought that of me in the past and that makes me sad. Fights
will make further discussions impossible, and that's really not what I am
after.
