I'm beginning to see a common element in Riv stories.  They have
tremendous physical and mental capabilities.  

They climb monstrous heights atop fishroom racks.  
The propagate in damp fishroom corners.
They ride for hours, perhaps day, aboard tiny Styrofoam rafts.

Is they nothing these little miracles can't do????

Let's hear some other incredible Riv stories from other guardians of the
