The September 11 ChiKA meeting is beginning to look like a great way to
start of the fall.
First, our speaker, Tomas Hrbek, will be discussing "Killifish relationships
as inferred from DNA data." Tomas has provided a brief summary of his
presentation so we can "do our homework" before the meeting (school
has started up again, after all <g>). Visit our web site at

Second, Brad Higgins is visiting our friends in the Netherlands. Brad jus
sent us an email with a list of some new & rare fish he's bringing back
with him that will be available at the mini-auction, including: N. luekei, N.
eggersi red, Cyn.costai, A. exiguum, A. cyanostictum PEG98-11, A.
loennbergi, A. elberti Denge, F. sjoestedti Loe, F. kunzi, and MAYBE A.
seegersi.
