Re: styrofoam shipping boxes
Here's a couple of other ways that I have obtained styro shipping boxes.
1. My local Wally World usually throws away any extra styro fish whipping
boxes (after the employees get what they want). So, since I KNOW when they get
their fish delivered, I plan on being there, and have managed to bum a few
that way. Mind you, I don't get fish there, and they DON'T stock killies, but
I get cat littler there, and I've gotten to know the manager of the pet dept
(this one actually CARES about the fish! She has several aquariums of her own,
and usually spends more time on the tanks than on the rest of the department.)
2. My other source of styro boxes has been a neighbor who sometimes orders
those "Omaha Steaks". They come in styro shipping boxes, so when she gets a
"delivery" , I get the boxes. Keeps them out of the trash, at least!
