Bruce Stallsmith just reported on the efficacy of Blue Gourami for eradicating
hydra. This is the "only" gourami species I have read which is reported to
consume hydra, but that does not make sense(?). Won't other gouramis do the
same thing? Biological control is always preferable over chemical control such
as Formalin or Quick Cure (formlin plus acriflavine), and I do have Dwarf
Gourami (but no hydra at the moment, thank goodness). Have you tried other
gourmai species, Bruce?
