There is more discussion re: an up to date list of fish being maintained.
Remember: most AKA members are NOT online. That introduces a built in error
and makes the project less accurate or useful. Some device has to be concocted
whereby Tom Grady - chairman of the Species Maintenance Committee can obtain
this information. All announcements and cajoling, to date, has prove
fruitless. Perhaps a big push for reporting several times per year - as on
renewal dates for membership and annual voting ballots, should be instituted
in an attempt to involved everyone in our organization. E-mail is just a
quick, simple form of communication and not a solution for this sort of
problem. I am as bad as anyone else about delaying making my reports and just
sent another one to Tom after reading your ideas, Lee. I am sure Tom is open
to any and all suggestions, so keep thinking.
