Re: I-net BNL soapbox - again SPAM -Reply

That's okay with me as long as it's okay with you <s>.

Here's the sticky point. I maintain that it could be done in fair manner,
such as coinciding the release to the probable receipt data of the printed
version. That way all members will have equal access to the info at the
same time.

Furthermore, I would suggest that not doing it is unfair to non-connected
members. Ed Warner was mentioned last year as an example of
someone who is not likely to ever become PC literate. But he's exactly
the type of member that can benefit greatly from an electronic BNL. He is
not able to promote his available fish on the net while others can. If I
have lots of AUS to get rid of, I'd post in the BNL and on both killies list
AND on my own web site.

I truly believe that the AKA is doing it's non-connected membership a
disservice by not providing them the best possible strategy for
distributing their killies.

Not to the point ( I hope) of making enemys.<<

You're not making an enemy here. We just have different opinions. :-)
BTW, you may not recall, but you were among the first AKA members I
met. We went through the fishroom sale together in St. Louis and you
helped me pick out a bag of fish. Thanks.

What happens if we destroy the AKA ? <<

That's the furthest from my intentions. And, yes, we must proceed with
some caution. I would be pleased with a test of some sorts, a trial period
with a measurement.

What would be a good measurement for success of an electronic F&E
listing?

Likewise, what would be the measurement of failure or danger?
