Subject: New to the list
Hi, I am new to the list and did not keep killies yet, but have 10 tanks
with apistos and rams who happily propagate.
This saturday and sunday there is a killifish auction here, in Houston,
TX. I am going to look and intend to buy some for couple of tanks. I dont
want to be lost, so what would you recommend to look for? What are your
favorite killie and why?
Thank you for reply

I started with Ap. gardneri Nsukka, Misaje, Akure .... I'm sure most of the
Killie veterans will agree that these are strikingly beautiful fish which are
easy to propagate and teach you the basics of killie keeping. I am far from
an expert but I have sucessfully kept these when I first began with killies a
few years ago. Prior to killies like you I had experience with other fish and
found these interesting fish to start my killie hobby (some say my obsession).
Best of luck and enjoy it.
