NEKA meeting July 19
The New England Killifish Association, NEKA, is having a meeting on
Sunday, July 19, at 2 p.m. The site is the University of Massachusetts
Boston, 100 Morrissey Blvd. Dorchester, McCormack Building, Rm. 1/313.
This room is the Invertebrate Zoology lab on the first floor of McCormack,
in the 300 corridor, near the ATM kiosk on that floor. UMass is on
Columbia Point next to the JFK Library, accessible from the Columbia Road
exit off of the Southeast Expressway, or the JFK/UMass stop on the Red
Line where a free shuttle bus will take you to the campus.
This will be largely an organizational meeting so that people can meet
each other and figure out exactly where do we go from here. There is also
a NEKA web page at neka.killi.net which will carry more information as I
get the hang of HTML.
Everyone is welcome, and please tell anyone you know in New England who
may be interested in this project. I think there is great potential for a
reactivated NEKA.
