Subject: IMPORTANT: list changes
I've just made a couple of changes to the configuration of this
mailing list. This is to allow people to receive individual messages
rather than digests. Each person now has a choice of how they would
like to subscribe to the list.
Even if you don't want to change your subscription, there is one thing
you need to be aware of: I have moved everyone's current subscriptions
from the list "killietalk" to the list "killietalk-digest". If you
attempt to unsubscribe from the list, you will need to unsubscribe
from "killietalk-digest", not from "killietalk".
Those of you who want to continue receiving digests don't need to do
anything. You will receive the list in digest form, and can continue
to post by mailing to killietalk at aka_org (or to killietalk at actwin_com).
If you want to switch to receiving individual messages, you need to
send an email message to "majordomo at aka_org" (or to majordomo at actwin_com).
You can leave the subject field blank. In the body of the message, put
unsubscribe killietalk-digest
subscribe killietalk
and then send the message. You will receive a confirmation message
back from the majordomo program.
If you later want to switch back to getting digests, just send
majordomo another message which switches which list you are
subscribing to and which you are unsubscribing from.
If you have any problems, you can always reach the list moderator at
owner-killietalk at aka_org.
