List format
Well folks, we can be very thankful that Mark Rosenstein of Actwin is such
a nice guy. He has advised me that he is willing to allow us to run
killietalk as either digest or single message, with the subscriber making
the choice. He will soon make the changes, as outlined below.
How it will work is
that he'll create another majordomo list called killietalk-digest.
Then "killietalk" will become the individual messages list. When
someone sends a message to killietalk, it will go out immediately on that
list, and get digested for eventual sending to the other list. Users
may be on either or both lists (not that it makes sense to be on both,
but it's possible). When someone wants to switch from one to the
other, they (or I) will have to issue two commands to unsubscribe
one list and subscribe the other.
This is just to let you know that we are going to make this change. I will
advise the list once the change is made. If you want to continue to get the
digest, you will do nothing. If you want to change to single message, you
will first unsubscribe from killietalk-digest, then resubscribe to
killietalk.
DON'T DO ANYTHING UNTIL I NOTIFY YOU OF THE CHANGE!
