Hi yet once again!
Since it seems to be the time to put one's 2 cents in on the digest
format... I am sure that the digest is easier to monitor and send out. I
would not want to make more work for Barry and/or whoever is involved
with this.
However having said that, I find myself looking at the killie Talk
Digest last after almost every other piece of e-mail has been perused.
Its format doesn't lend itself to a quick read. I very seldom post to
this list (no loss..) compared to others because it just doesn't lend
itself as easily to quick responses. Sometime responses to this (and the
livefoods list) just never get made.
If it is possible, as has been suggested, it would be great if
subscribers would be given the option of subscribing to a digest or
single messages. Volume overall would increase.
Another thought...I value the comments and questions of everyone here a
lot. However the dinklespiel (odd commands and who knows what) that
drifts in on some messages and the massive inclusion of previous digests
in response, when it is not pertinent to the subject, distracts one's
attention from the messages. Whether the posting is in single or digest
form, it will get more response without the clutter.
