Notho Salt and Peat Question

I recently picked up several pairs of Nothos, guentheri and
foerschi, at the AKA convention. It was my first
convention and it was great!

I was wondering how much salt other Notho keepers add
to their water. Im currently adding about 1 teaspoon or
marine salt per gallon, but I heard somewhere that some
people use up to 1 Tablespoon per gallon. What is the
general consensus on how much salt? Should
adults have more or less salt then fry?

I have already started to collect eggs and storing them
in peat which leads to my other questions. Just how
moist or dry should the peat be? Since Im not
a smoker I cant use the general guideline
of having my peat as moist as pipe tobacco. Also
when storing the eggs and peat, what is the best
method of storing the bags, inflated with air
or completely deflated of air? I have seen both,
but what are the trade offs?

Thanks,
David Snell
