What silicone sealer
In years past there was a DOW silicone sealer in an orange and blue
cartridge which I used for making aquariums. This particular brand of
clear silicone stated that it could be used for aquariums.
But today I only find clear silicones which state that they shouldn't be
used for continuous underwater use (therefore not for aquariums). Is this
silicone different from the older brand I used before or doesn't DOW or DAP
want people to used it on aquariums for product liability reasons.
What specific brands of silicone have people used for sealing and repairing
tanks. Any information would be appreciated.
