arnoldi help
Hello all,
I'm glad to see this list starting to take off. I have a problem with a
pair of wild F. (A.?) arnoldi. They've grown from juveniles to a nice,
healthy pair - the female fills with eggs, I put them together - they
spawn and nothing ever develops.
I've had them over peat, as always worked for my walkeri. I'm trying
bottom mops next, so I can watch the eggs. Temp is 23, hardness 50 ppm,
pH just under neutral. I've wetted the peat at 6 weeks, 3 weeks and 8
weeks. Can anyone who has experience with this species help me out?
I'm a 'plant-spawner" guy, but these fish were too uncommon and pretty
to let go by.
