As a member of the BOT I will give you my personal understanding of the
policy on shows hosted by affiliate clubs. First, however, I should point
out that Art Leuterman has already posted a reply, but Adrian insists on
repeatedly posting. Hopefully, this reply will satisfy him.

I suspect the reason no BOT member has responded, is that affiliate clubs
are free to run their shows in their own way. The only requirement that I
am aware of is that, if the show is sanctioned by the AKA, the club must
adhere to AKA judging standards. If a club chooses to limit attendance to
AKA members, to just club members, or to make it completely open, they are
free to do so. Therefore, Adrian, if you wish to confirm whether you can
attend any one show, you will have to contact the organizers on a one by
one basis.

Please do not post this question again. It will do nothing to clarify your
sitation. Contact the secretary of the individual clubs, whose address can
be found in the appropriate AKA publications.
