Convention Info

In response to Adrian's 'public' request for information on the rules about
attendance to the AKA Convention.

Please note this answer was privately sent to AAHEIMANN over a week ago:

As one of the "Gang of Four" Co-chairs of the 1998 AKA Convention in
Syracuse, I can
answer some of your questions officially.
The A.K.A. convention is open to anyone who wishes to attend whether or
not you are a member of the American Killifish Assc. However, you must
register as a convention attendee to enter the speaker seminars, the fish
sale room, banquet or brunch. The auction is open to the general public.
You are more than welcome to enter fish in the Fish Show and certainly
may enter that room following the judging to view the fish available for the
auction.
UNYKA reserves the right to set specific times when anyone can enter any
area during the convention. Obviously, these restrictions apply to all
attendees, not specific individuals.

Sincerely,
Tom Grady
"Gang of Four" Co-Chairman 1998 AKA Convention
