In this case, Sue already bypassed the non-net folks, with or without an
organized effort by the AKA. Also, she sounded as if she was in dire
need to relieve overcrowding. The BNL may not have been timely
enough. So her only other recourse would have been to cull the extra
fish. With the email message, many fish keepers have benefited that
may not have been the case otherwise.
There are no easy answers. Yes, those without Internet access are at
a disadvantage, regardless of the AKA's stance. Perhaps there are
ways we could work out that reduce this disadvantage. Such as
release electronic F&E listings weekly all at the same time while
simultaneously fax or mail a hard copy to non-net folks who wish to
subscribe to the service. Just a thought.
