Unfortunately the noise isn't the only down side. If you use an auto
pollution control pump that has carbon vanes (most of them), you pump a fine
dust of carbon through your system that clogs air releases and valves. The
BIG down side for me was the cost of operation. In NY where we have some of
the highest electric rates in the US, the monthly cost was about $75 to
operate
