Though Bud seems to have accidentally forgotten us, the Rodney Dangerfield
of the AKA (i.e. the MKA) would like to remind everyone that we have a show
coming up as well. We will be at the Holiday Inn Troy again this year Sept
26 and 27. No entry fee, free box sales, free BBQ Sat night. Charlie
Grimes and John Clairmont will be speaking. We are also offering proxy
bidding similar to what ChiKA had this past spring. Following is a list of
fish we are currently expecting to have available at our show either in box
sales or auction. More details are available at http://www.aka.org/mka/
We will be updating available fish and proxy guidelines as they become
available. I would also like to mention that there is one other show this
fall, NEW is in Latham NY, Oct 16-18. There is also a show yet this summer
as the CKC is having their show this very weekend in Castle Rock, CO.

Hey gang, since these are the last hurrah's for the killifish discussion
list, I might as well get one last show notice in before I see you in the
AKA Forums, if you're so inclined. The 31sy annual Killifish Karnival
produced by the Michiana Aquarium Society is scheduled for February 27th and
28th at the Ramada Inn at Toll Road exit 92 in Elkhart Indiana. The speaker
will be Kurt Smith from the Youngstown area, topics to be announced. Join us
for our AKA sanctioned 15 class show on Saturday, and the great auction on
Sunday. Ken McKeighen paintings will be awarded for the first three places
in each class along with Best Old World, Best New World, Reserve Best is
Show and Best in Show. If you haven't seen his work, it's worth the trip
just to see what the individual winners will be receiving. Look forward to
seeing you all here as well as the Minnesota and Wisconsin shows yet this
year.
