[Killietalk] Forums
I still like the KillieTalk format - it better meets my own individual
needs. With forums, i will not look at as many posts and respond to
fewer (maybe a good thing). Having said that, the newer version of
the forums that Barry implemented is much nicer than the previous
version. I encourage people to give them a try and to customize them
to meet your needs. I also think their value will rival KillieTalk's
once people make the switch.
If the BOT wants more input from members than they currently receive,
I also encourage the BOT to set up a forum in the members only area to
post detailed information on topics they are discussing, allowing for
thoughtful comments. This would continue the atmosphere of openness
that they started by posting the topics in the BNL.

forums and was somewhat dissapointed to find out they were 4/5 club
politics
and 1/5 breeding. It appears the non-members can discuss breeding fish
while
the members are encouraged to discuss the club instead. This seems to
suggest the AKA is about the AKA, not killifish themselves."
Roger, the whole purpose of the member's only area is for those types
of discussions. The fish discussions (by members and non-members)
SHOULD be in the open area only, I think. Not restricted to members
only or you are not replacing the value of KillieTalk.
