[Killietalk] CB 99

In the CKA picnic's mini-auction, I was able to pick up Epiplatys infrafasciatus CB 99 Limbe mile 11. The last part of the auction was held in a light sprinkle (as if killienuts would be afraid of a little water.) Lots of reasons to be grateful - to Frank Carriglitto and his wife for graciously hosting us, to John Metzger for bringing the Epiplatys, to Bob Hornig for trying single-handedly to see that no one left without a life foods culture if they wanted on and to four ladies and gentlemen for showing up for their first, but not last CKA event. Oh yeah, and to Todd (the kid) Toerpe for surviving his heart attack and coming back to preside over the meeting and auction a nice selection of plants, killies and live foods off with his usual unique humor.

A little Googling suggested that Limbe, sometimes Victoria, is a commercial port to the east of Mt. Cameroon, in Chromaphyosemion and perhaps in ahli complex country.

What I am curious about is what collectors are associated with CB 99? Are their experiences written up anywhere?

Thanks and all the best!
Scott
