Re: [Killietalk] aphanius eggs on peat

In general I have found pupfish eggs can't be incubated on peat.? While I haven't tried Aphanius, I consider them to be pupfish even though I know they aren't, it might prove to be too acidic.? I've never had problems with water incubation of Aphanius eggs so I haven't tried.

Subject: [Killietalk] aphanius eggs on peat

Hey gang,
Can aphanius eggs be sent on moist peat? As anyone here tried
incubating the eggs on peat? I have no luck with water incubation. I'd like to
get some aphanius eggs sent to me and I was wondering if peat would be the way
to go.
