Re: [Killietalk] Separating Blodworms from muck
When i would collect tubafex worms to seperat them from the muck. I put them
in a dish pan & add cold water set them on the basement floar & as the water
warmed up they would come to the top. Then lift them up with a fine mesh
net. Work for tubafex

Subject: [Killietalk] Separating Blodworms from muck
I'm doing a search of KT as we speak, but can't seem to find the post
where
someone spoke of a way to separate bloodworms from muck...mine are not in
"tunnels" per se, but mixed in pond muck, leaves, et and wiggling
about...any way to gather them up w/o the leaves and gunk?
Also mixed in are daphnia & mossies, but not as many...
Any fast reply appreciated, I'd like to especially catch the mossies
before
they become bloodsuckers...
