Re: [Killietalk] Invasive Species Legislation
Have a look at the Reptile site:
http://www.nohr669.com
This goes much deeper than just our Killies
The Pet Industry Joint Advisory Council found on the web at:
http://www.pijac.org offers more information
regarding this and other PETA type restrictions
on pet ownership.
There is lots of money behind this, there are
things we can do now. We need to stop this
legislation at the committee level.

HI all,
I sincerely doubt that the law as written would pass the full House and
Senate, but I think our goal should be to put a stop to such legislation at
the committee level, letting our congresscritters know we ARE watching, and
we ARE going to step up and do something, instead of passively letting
things slide.
This bill is part of a larger agenda, and needs to be shut down completely,
to let even a watered down version pass opens the door for amendments, and
expansion sponsored by animal prohibitionist groups in the future. Think
long term, not short term, and think about joining in to send a message,
loudly and clearly
