Oh one more thing...I thought I posted pics of DIY bulkheads using 3/4" male
PVC fitting & O-rings...The threaded end of a male GREY PVC coupling fits
through a std 1-1/16 opening (for 1/2" bulkheads), and the O-ring goes on
the "water side"....

...you then place a female coupling on the other side and when screwed tight
it seals...(you can use "thread X thread" OR "thread X slip" female)

Anyway, I must emphasize: seems the grey PVC (for electrical I think) has
better/softer threads, and therefore screws with tighter tolerances....

Hi Yall,

In the efforts to conserve MOOLAH in setting up an overflow system.   I am
looking for an item that Drsfostersmith used to sell.   It was a grommet
replacement for bulkheads.  Essentially pressing a grommet in place then a
barbed hose end after that.  (I checked Jehmco already and NO JOY)

I have considered the a small piece of the vinyl 3/4ID with a 3/4 inch
barbed hose end pressed through it to make the seal.   WHICH IS VERY CHEAP
INDEED!!

I would however prefer the device that was actually made for the purpose of
replacing a low pressure application bulkhead.  

Anyone know of a source?????
