Ken,I think you're living closer to a Fox 'News' TV than to a border. I'm not in the US, so when I travel south, I deal with your border bureaucracy. If I were a US citizen, I would write to my representatives on this - the law seems poorly conceived but very enforceable.
All this HHR talk is pure paranoia... ...I've said it before, and will say it again: simply bring whatever you want (drugs, endangered/invasive species, people, firearms, explosives, et et) across the Rio Grande and nothing and/or no one will stop it :-/KC
