Re: [Killietalk] Box sales

I agree with Karl. Unless you personally know the guy, the only way to tell is the quantity and quality of fish he brings to the show (Box Sales or Auctions). Take a close look at members who have won the KEY (Killifish Exhibitor of the Year) award, such as Larry W, Norm Ruebsamen, John Metzger or Gary Greenwood. Those are more than proven. Then there are those that consistently advertise in the BNL or who sell large numbers of species on Aquabid. Then there are the breeders like Karl and Gordie Zahn who always enter fish in the shows and always have quality fish in the box sales.

On the other hand there are the people who always buy fish at the shows and never, never sell or give away fish. If you stop and think you will find you know purchasers of both types. All affiliates have both types, sometimes more of one than the other.
