[Killietalk] Was: Re: Complaint "same people list in the BNL month aftermonth after month", now raising brine shrimp

I made a stab at that a couple of years ago, but the results were pretty
meager for the effort. I used a 55 and only had enough adults at any one
time to feed a few tanks, and that only lasted for a few days. It wan't
worth the effort for me.

BTW, what is your experience in feeding non-living foods to various
killies? Flakes, frozen, etc.? The literature usually lists most killies
as not taking non-living foods. My experience, while limited, is that I
can feed flakes to them when I have them in a group such as a number of
juveniles, as one pecks at the food the others immediately get their
competitive juices going and rush to see what they are missing, but if in a
small group or just a few, they usually ignore. This only seems to work
for the Fundulopanchax, not Aphyosemions, though.

Any comments?
