Re: [Killietalk] Cheap method of making foam filters?

I only like sponge filters for fry. Other wise like Karl's Under gravels I
use the lee's economy box filter:

It's tough to beat at $2 and I've recently started using spawning mops as my
reusable filter floss on top of 1/4 inch lava rock.

I usually just use the lava rock as it's so easy to clean simply by shaking
and rinsing in tank water a couple time.

My personal choice. Never own a sponge filter. Picture attached. Just fill
with course gravel. Every 2 weeks dump rinse in cool water put back in.NONE
