Re: [Killietalk] *****SPAM***** Fund. Gardneri Biassa
Dan,
I have kept Gardneri baissa for several years now. I have found them to be a
little harder to spawn than someof the other gardneri species but I still am
able to spawn them. My set up is usually a 2 gal. tank with a bottom mop. I
find keeping the male and female separate and then putting them together for
spawning works quite well. Also keeps both the female and male in much
better shape by keeping them separate. I leave them together for a day and
then separate them again. This is usually enough time for them to spawn if
they are old enough and in good condition. Eggs are kept in small container
with your favorite solution for 12 to 16 days before hatching. Fry take
newly hatched brine shrimp.
Good Luck,
George
