[Killietalk] Procatopus Eggs to Fry

This was also sent a couple of days ago and appearently did not make the list.

I have several species and locations of Procatopus. My similis do
well, lots of eggs and two tankful of fry.]
On the other hand My Pro. nototaenia Kirbi are a problem. They eat
about half of the eggs, half of those fungus up and of the remaining
about 1 % hatch.

I use mops to collect the eggs and get most of them low on the mop
which has a cork and is weighted to the bottom. I have dealt with
the eggs in three ways, 1( I move the mop to a smaller tank with lots
of air and hatch the eggs from the mop (fry); 2) I put the fry on wet
peat for about two weeks them hatch them out in a 2 quart plastic box
with lots of air. (1); 3) I put them into the same container as I
collect them with out the peat and collect a weeks worth; (1
fry). This is over a period of 4 months with 6 fish. two females and
four males in a 20 gallon long.

I have done the same three methods with the similis and have had
success with each method.

Any Ideas?
