Re: [Killietalk] Xray at airport checkpoints
Don't know how you do it. I had a small container of suntan lotion stopped, and almost THROWN OUT because it wasn't in the ziplock bag with all other liquids. They said the xray machine identified 'other' liquid in my carry on bag. How much water is in your breathable bag?

The fish were in breathable bags, tied with two rubber bands at the open end and then each small bag was placed in a clean sock and were carried on in both my laptop carrier and carryon small suitcase. I also had fish in my checked baggage in clean socks just in case of a problem with one location being discovered and confiscated. The fish were in the bags for many hours. I had no leaks at all and no casualties. I have been doing this for years with no confiscations and no defects or deformities that I am aware of. I do however occasionally wonder when my luck will run out... > For me, the breathable bag is what makes it possible to collect fish and transport them with very few problems.> Joe Bulterman> Dubai!

I was wondering if anyone has noticed any sterility or deformaties in their fish that have been screened in checked baggage. I have not transported fish from shows via the airlines myself, but may soon do so. I'm sure that this has been covered, but I would appreciate knowing if anyone has had any problems with this, or at least suspects it. > Mark DelRaso> Indianapolis> Join the AKA at http://www.aka.org/aka/modules/content/index.php?id=9.> Archives are at http://fins.actwin.com/killietalk/> Modify your subscription at http://www.actwin.com/m!
