Re: [Killietalk] AKA Roster
A few quick points here
1. My initial question , which led to all of this was simple, where can I find the point breakdown for KEY, and why was I not sent a roster the last 3 years since I rejoined the AKA. If we are moving toward a computer age it should be on the web site.
Keith Cook e mailed me privately the point breakdown for the KEY award and stated that he would like it and current standings to be on web page. Which they are not. He also stated they were mentioned in the BNL a few years ago, I dug into my stash and found it. There is no eBNL stash in my house, most times a quick glance, a look at the 2-4 other people that list fish and a delete, it takes up too much e mail space.
2. I was told by another person that if I wanted a current roster I had to ask for it, and it was in the BNL/eBNL which is great but I did not get a complete eBNL last month, nor did my father , nor another member I talked to.
3. My add for the eBNL was cut in half on the EBNL form, where I was told the paper roster had the full add.
If we are going to a computer age form of communication then we better make sure there is a checks and balance where all members get FULL content of BNL rather than be subjective to many questions.
Also if we are going to a computer age then if our Web page says accepting BOT nominations after the "deadline" has passed, then we as a club should accept them, another story for another day.
