In my experience, yes. However, Grindal and microworms (especially the Walter
variety) live longer in freshwater than brine shrimp. Adding a teaspoonful of
salt per gallon is helpful in keeping the brine shrimp alive longer. Still
not a good idea to overfeed. Daphnia and Cyclops live much longer and actually
consume bacteria and other microorganisms and algae.
