Re: [Killietalk] small fry

Gary Lange, my personal rainbowfish guru, gave me a supply of powdered
artificial plankton rotifers to use with my baby angelfish. It is
very temperaure sensitive but worth the hassle because the fry thrive
with it--I have raised two batches of melanotaenia parva on the stuff,
until they were large enough for baby brine and cyclopeeze. I also
put microworms in their tank from day one when they were hatched.

And in a heavily planted tank that got a few microworms daily (on the
if-you-feed-it-fry-will-appear principle), I had spontaneous
appearance once of a psuedomugil fry that grew to adulthood, but sadly
only one.
