[Killietalk] Support for Arcadio

Per a personal communication (which I edited slightly) from an AKA member 
who did not specify if I could use his name or not, so will remain unnamed:

I thought Kit Stowell (he recently rejoined the AKA) had set up a foundation 
or something along those lines to be able to "funnel" money to Arcadio.  I 
don't know if it was a one time effort or not.  Anyway, Arcadio used the 
money to upgrade his facilities and provided an end of the year report (this 
was about 5 years ago) ...   I know previously Arcadio had used pond liners 
as his stock tanks but the photos in the report showed he had upgraded to a 
little bit better system.  There is no doubt that the facilites had to 
experience some wear and tear.

So the question now is whether or not there is a foundation or something 
else to help the AKA fund efforts like Arcadio's?  Even better, if the AKA 
or foundation, possibly within the AKA, has a non-profit tax status and is 
dedicated toward this type of conservation effort, people would be able to 
donate and receive a tax break.
