[Killietalk] Convention Update (Last one did not seem to get through)

Hi folks,

   I would appreciate it if everyone who is either bringing a traveling 
award (Jubb, Indell, Maier and others) or annually provides a special award 
(Tirbak, Bricknell, Finch and others) please contact me and let me know if 
you are planning to present the award this year and if anything is needed 
from UNYKA to assist you.

  The Convention is getting close and all our plans are falling into place 
(or tossed aside *laugh*).

  If there are any Canadians who would like to bring fish to the convention 
this year and are hesitant because of tightened security at the border, 
please contact me to make arrangements for easy crossing.  If any Americans 
intend to cross the Canadian peninsula between Michigan and Buffalo 
(Niagara) NY, please touch base with me for special arrangements.

  We have added 5 more rooms for Saturday & Sunday nights if anyone is still 
hoping to find a room at the Sheraton Hotel.  You will need to call the 
hotel at (315) 475-3000 asap.

  If you have not yet registered for the convention, please drop me a line 
or give me a call to let me know if you plan on attending the banquet.  We 
need a count for the hotel.  You can register and pay at the convention - 
just let me know.

   If you are taking AMTRAK to Syracuse - the hotel shuttle service will 
pick you up.
