Re: [Killietalk] Aphyo primigenium

Hello Wright,

It's George here from the VAKC. Don't know if you remember me..I chatted
with you in the limo and also had some conversation with you during the
auction whilst I was helping Matt, et.al..

I managed to purchase some nice fish at WCW including a pair of the little
lampeyes that you reccomended...... Procatopus nototaenia Makondo. I
conditioned them slowly and placed them in a 2 1/2 gal tank with a mop,
bound with rubberbands at your suggestion. They appear to be happy....cute
little fish. Now we'll see if they produce any eggs.

I noted with interest this post. I am a big proponent of Equilibrium I
breed gups as well as killies and Equilibrium has been an integral part of
my water conditioning for several years. I use it in combo with the Seachem
alkaline buffer. I have found that, although the Equil. has a great effect
on the GH, it doesn't have as significant effect on the KH.

Have fun in Syracuse. Talk to you later.

George
