I have a 5 gallon pond in my backyard.? I had a firepit that I dug out, lined and turned into a small pond.? Unfortunately it too cold out here on the central coast of california for much more than gold fish or other cold water tolerant fish.

Hi all, following this thread, I was just wondering what one considers a  
pond.  I have 6 acres of land which I can dig many holes in, but would  these 
holes of 40 - 50 gals of water be considered a pond?  Thanks and any  info might
