I have raised quite a few Fp. gularis over the years and have always found
that many eggs are infertile and quickly turn white. I just kept removing
these from the damp peat until I had enough good eggs that became ready to
hatch.
For some reason I always got more eggs when I used red mops. They are big
eaters and need to have regular water changes, twice a week is not too many.
