Re: [Killietalk] Aplocheilus Luxopthalmus Hannerzei

The genus you want to search for is Aplicheilichthys. Aplocheilus is an
entirely different group of killies that do not look or behave anything like
the fish you are looking for. A. luxophthalmus is synonymous with A.
macrophthalmus, don't even worry about the subspecies name hannerzi. The
fish is currently properly called Micropanchax macrophthalmus, but you will
find more information under the Aplocheilichthys macrophthalmus. I have
attached an image of an adult male. They get 1-2" long and do best in
schools. They are one of the more common killies you may see in better
aquarium stores.

Does anyone have a photo of this species so that I may know what it looks
like? I cant find a single one of it online anywhere, nor any mention of the
species.

Has anyone looked into offereing a strictly e-mail membership for overseas
members? If you offer that at the same price of the standard US membership
you may increase your overseas membership. Just send all publications via
pdf.
