Furthermore, the US postal service eliminated the cheap media rate for 
overseas postage and, which actually increased the cost of mailing JAKA 
overseas. At this point those increased costs have not yet been passed on.

It is much cheaper for non-US residents to be a member of the AKA than 
it is for US residents to be members of most of the foreign killie 
associations, as has already been pointed out.
