Something indeed happened, but I have no idea what that was. Most of what I wanted to say has been said on the list.
Now regarding those 8 weeks, the incubation was at a temerature in the low 70s in my basement during the summer. I am having somewhat different results with bellottii (same thing as apaii to me) which was incubated over the winter months at mid to low 60s.
Let me know what sex ratio you get. I am seeing 1:10 in favor of females, maybe even 1:15.
I still have the parents that gave the eggs. They are old, huge, slow, and sometimes like to sleep on their side. I have only seen this in clown loaches.
